Our Story
How we met...
We met during the height of COVID-19, in Kelowna, B.C. after having a very brief text exchange in the summer of 2019. In April 2020, Anna had moved back from Calgary and Braden was in town studying for his pharmacy license. Once we realized we were both in the same city, we arranged a dinner date and were inseparable. That was until Anna booked a ticket to Prague to see her family in August 2020, and Braden jumped on a plane shortly after. ​As the world was shutting down, we had a once-in-a-lifetime chance to explore the city and make memories.
When things started to get back to a new normal, Anna took an internship in Calgary and Braden took over Knights Pharmacy in Penticton. But we made the most of the situation, and Aeroplan point redemptions (iykyk!), travelling back and forth most weekends.

In 2022, we made our way to Otranto, Italy, on what was somewhat of a whim. Once we saw a photo on Instagram, we knew we had to make a trip. Two planes and one train ride later, we arrived and instantly fell in love with the town.

Fast forward to December 2024, we planned a trip to Europe to visit the Christmas markets. On Christmas morning, we woke up to blue sky in Prague — a welcome change in weather after a week in the grey cold! After navigating our way through hundreds of tourists, we found a quiet area by the river and Braden got down on one knee (finally!!...kidding kidding).

Having our wedding in Italy was always our dream, and we sincerely hope you can make the trip to celebrate with us. Of course, we understand that this is a time and financial commitment and for some, making the trip may not be possible. Please know that your love and well wishes mean just as much to us from afar!
